Mini. Icons.  began the moment I took this photo of my oldest son, Riley, at age 5 (above).  It's truly one of my most favorite photographs of him because it captured his smile, his authentic self, and the black and white edit is classic.
As his mother, I truly cherish this portrait and I want to be able to give my clients that same feeling and a portrait collection of their child that is authentic, modern, and whole-heartedly REAL.

A New Collection

BRAND NEW FOR THE
MODERN PARENTS

from All Dolled Up Photography

The heart of Mini. Icon. is to help kids feel seen, loved, and valued. I hope that by finding themselves in images that they are proud of, we (myself and you, the parent) can contribute to their confidence in some way. The best images come from authentic moments. I will help guide your child in a playful manner, whether it's by playing music or telling jokes. Gifting families with individual portraits of their children that truly showcase who they are is one of the best feelings as a photographer, but also as a fellow parent!

My Philosophy

Mini. Icon. sessions are easy!
These simple, modern, + whole-hearted portraits of your kids can be photographed right in your own home (or on location). What could be easier? Kids are encouraged to dress comfy!
A simple tee is all you need!

Prep Time!

Here are some helpful tips to prepare your child (and yourself!) ahead of your portrait day!

Dress your child in plain and simple clothing so that nothing defines or distracts from their expression and natural personality (no distracting logos, graphics, slogans, etc.) A small collar or trim on a shirt is ok, but a solid color t-shirt is best!

Make sure that your child's face is clean before you arrive (many children do not like having their faces wiped, so it is best to do it before, allowing the portrait process to be a positive experience.) Moisturize their face, arms, and hands a day before the session, and come free of crumbs and boogies!

Hair as natural/simple as possible with no accessories unless it is a cultural hairstyle. Remove chipped nail polish and temporary tattoos.

Take a look through the gallery and decide if you prefer white or dark shirts. To allow for the best contrast, we recommend staying away from grey or mid-toned shirts. Our backgrounds is white, but if you prefer a darker option, please request ahead of time.
